Arriving From the South

Traveling northbound (from Seattle or points south of Bellingham) Take I-5 to the Alger Exit (Exit no. 240). Take the Alger Exit and turn right onto Lake Samish Rd. you will come to a four-way stop at Old Highway 99. Go straight through the intersection and continue on the road (which now becomes Alger Cain Lake Rd.). Stay on Alger Cain Lake Rd. until it ends/reaches South Bay Drive. Take a right on South Bay Drive and follow the shoreline of Whatcom lake past the fire station. Look for the 6 cabins on the left hand side of the road. Cabin No. 5 is the yellow one. Please park on the right-hand side of the road where indicated across the street from Cabin No. 5.

Arriving From the North

Traveling Southbound (from Canada or north of Bellingham), take I-5 until you reach the Lakeway Drive exit (Exhibit No. 253). Take the Lakeway Drive exit and turn left onto Lakeway Drive. You will quickly pass Fred Meyers and Whole Foods on the left. Both are excellent places to stock up on groceries and supplies for your stay. Continue on Lakeway Drive until you reach the lake and the road veers to the right. Follow the Lakeway Diver around the lake past/through sudden valley and continue to follow the narrow/winding road as in makes it way around the lake. Once you past Wildwood resort, the road will turn to the left and become South Bay Drive. Stay left and go onto South Bay Drive. Continue on South Bay Drive around the lake and past the fire station; look for the 6 cabins on the left hand side of the road. Cabin No. 5 is the yellow one. Please park on the right-hand side of the road where indicated across the street from Cabin No. 5.
